Backflow inspections aren’t about passing an annual test and checking a box. They protect your property, the public water supply, and your line on costly violations, emergency shutdowns, and unexpected repairs. Paragon’s certified inspections, testing, repairs, and TCEQ-compliant reporting keep property owners ahead of the deadlines — extend equipment life, stay compliant, and skip the headaches of failed devices and missed paperwork. Private hydrants get the same standard of care on the same visit, so your water-side compliance lives on one report.
Backflow testing, repair, and installation
Backflow preventers protect your potable water supply from cross-contamination, and most municipalities require annual certified testing to keep them in compliance. Paragon handles every stage: testing, repair, replacement, and new installation, with the report filed straight to your local water authority.
From a single RPZ on a fire sprinkler line to portfolio-wide annual programs covering DCV, RPZ, and PVB assemblies, we test, tag, and certify everything our certified testers touch. Failed tests get a fast turnaround so your property doesn’t sit out of compliance.
Private hydrant flow testing and maintenance
If a hydrant sits on your private fire main, it’s yours to keep ready — not the city’s. NFPA 25 calls for an annual inspection plus a flow test every five years, and the AHJ expects the result on file. Paragon handles the full cadence: a documented flow test with static, residual, and pitot readings; cap and stem grease; outlet caps verified and re-seated; chains inspected; paint and visibility checked against the fire-marshal’s color standard for your jurisdiction; and a clean report tying the hydrant by tag number back to your fire-protection records.
When a hydrant fails or shows deterioration, we replace barrel, stem, or full assembly on the same private-main work order so your water source is back in service before the next inspection cycle.
